The course is timely with the aspiration of the growing interest and concerns in the field of Islamic Banking & Insurance (Takaful) both locally and internationally. Keeping into consideration the busy schedule of the instructors and the executives we have designed this course in a manner that all the classes will be conducted on weekends only. PGD IN DARUL ULOOM KARACHI

PGD POLICIES

Pre-requisite:

  • Graduation in any discipline
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Islamic Banking or Certificate Course in Islamic Banking

Selection Criteria:

  • Admissions will be awarded on the basis of test and interview.
  • Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview.

Course Details:

  • PGD is a one-year program consisting of 3 semesters of 4 months each.
  • Four courses will be taught in every semester.
  • Each course is of 36 credit hours.
  • In each semester one mid-term & one final exam will be conducted.
  • Total 12 courses will be taught in the whole year.
  • The class timing will be on:
    • Saturday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
    • Sunday 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Diploma will be awarded to successful candidates.
  • The Diploma is of 36 Credit Points.
